Creating a New Organisation
If your sailing club, class association, or sailing association isn't on Sailboat Racing yet, you can create one during registration or (if you're a system admin) from the admin panel.
During Registration
When you register for a new account, you can choose to create a new organisation at the same time. See Creating an Account for the full registration flow.
Organisation Details
When creating an organisation, you'll need to provide:

| Name | Yes | The full name of your club or association |
| Slug | Yes | A URL-friendly identifier (e.g. my-sailing-club). Used in your public page URL |
| Type | Yes | One of: Club, Class Association, or Sailing Association |
| Description | No | A short description of your organisation |
| Address | No | Physical address |
| Website | No | Your club's website URL |
| Location | No | Latitude and longitude coordinates (used for the club map) |
| RYA Club ID | No | Your RYA affiliation number (UK clubs) |
| Cover Image | No | A photo displayed on your public club page |
Activation
After creation, your organisation will be in a pending state. A Sailboat Racing system administrator will review and activate it. Once activated, you'll have full access to all admin features.
