Managing Roles & Permissions

Organisation admins can change the roles of existing members at any time.

Viewing Members

  1. Go to Accounts in the sidebar
  2. The member list shows each person's name and their current permissions:
  3. Organisation & Race management - indicates both roles
  4. Organisation management - indicates Organisation Admin role only
  5. Race management - indicates Race Officer role only
  6. No management permissions - no roles assigned

Changing a Member's Role

  1. Click on a member's name to open their details
  2. Toggle roles on or off:
  3. Grant or revoke Organisation Admin role
  4. Grant or revoke Race Officer role
  5. A member can hold both roles simultaneously

Removing a Member

From the member's detail page, you can remove their membership entirely. This revokes all their roles within your organisation. They can request to rejoin later.

Important Notes

  • A member with no roles assigned can still log in but won't see your organisation in their admin panel
  • Removing a member does not delete their Sailboat Racing account - it only removes their association with your organisation
