Divisions & Standings
Divisions let you create separate standings within a series for different groups of boats while still racing together.
What Are Divisions?
A division is a grouping of entries within a series. Common examples: - Monohull / Multihull - separate standings by hull type - Junior / Senior - age-based categories - Singlehander / Doublehander - crew configuration - Club / Visitor - home club vs guests
Each race entry can be assigned to one or more divisions.
Standings Modes
When divisions are configured, choose how standings are displayed:
Division Standings Only
Only shows standings per division. There is no combined overall table. Use this when the divisions are fundamentally different categories (e.g. Dinghies vs Keelboats) where an overall ranking wouldn't be meaningful.
Division and Overall Standings
Shows both per-division standings and a combined overall standings table. Use this when you want to recognize divisional winners but also have an overall series champion.
Setting Up Divisions
- When creating a series, add divisions in the scoring configuration
- When adding race entries, assign each entry to the appropriate division(s)
